We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Executive who will play a pivotal role in expanding FirstSight’s portfolio of D2C and digital-first brands. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with direct-to-consumer businesses, driving brand onboarding, and ensuring long-term client retention through consultative relationship management and strategic collaboration.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, an understanding of digital marketing domains, and proven experience in nurturing partnerships and driving business outcomes in a digital marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact

Client Acquisition & Onboarding:

Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for potential D2C clients, articulate FirstSight’s value proposition, and align service capabilities with brand needs.

Brand Retention & Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts; drive long-term engagement through consistent value delivery, insights, optimization discussions, and retention-focused strategies (e.g., lifetime value growth, repeat purchase frameworks, churn mitigation).

Translate brand goals into strategic proposals leveraging performance marketing, retention marketing frameworks, omnichannel planning, and funnel optimization concepts.

Collaborate closely with internal teams (performance, creative, analytics, marketplace solutions) to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and high-quality delivery.

Identify and engage prospective clients through targeted outreach using both free and paid lead generation tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms and digital prospecting systems.

Partner with internal analytics teams to synthesize campaign performance data into actionable business recommendations for clients that support retention and acquisition goals.

Provide guidance and support to junior team members; share best practices and contribute to continual improvement of business development processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Reasons why this job is for you

3 – 8 years of experience in business development, sales, client servicing, or account management ideally within a digital marketing agency or service-oriented environment supporting D2C brands.

Demonstrable experience managing client relationships, improving engagement outcomes, and contributing to client lifetime value.

Working knowledge of digital marketing domains (performance marketing, retention marketing concepts, CRM, funnel metrics, customer lifecycle planning). The candidate should be able to engage credibly with digital strategists and brand stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities and presentation confidence.

Experience with lead generation and CRM tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot/CRM platforms) and comfort using analytics dashboards or reporting tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and act as a bridge between clients and internal delivery teams.
